Millions of children across the country were not the only ones returning to school today, with Rick and Lee conducting 'back to school' patrols around Eastbrook School. Rick also spent over an hour in Rush Green as the college returned too (7.10 miles).
After arriving in Rush Green via the country park, Fels Farm Mews (1.04pm), Valentines Way, Great Cullings (p) and Harveys Lane (1.26pm) were visited.
Calling by at the college to welcome back some of the staff, Rick went on to visit ASB hotspots, including the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley, Philip Avenue (1.40pm), the car port in Fourth Avenue and the flats along Dagenham Road (p).
It was then through Thorntons Farm Avenue and into Central Park where Rick met with a young man venturing into the world of Instagram (@kicks.w.sall) and exploring the history of rugby and local rugby clubs.
In Felhurst Crescent, Rick met up with Lee to provide a presence around EastbrookSchool and Rainham Road South with the first day of the new school year coming to an end.
Time was also spent in Central Park (p) to monitor after-school ASB robbery, which included speaking to parents at the playgrounds.
Fels Field and the May and Baker Social Club rounded off the day. |
